A powerful defender and rising coaching star, renowned for his elite endurance and exceptional leadership. After a standout career with the Dandenong Stingrays, Deakyn was selected by Melbourne in the 2021 Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period. With 44 VFL games and a 2023 Casey Demons Best and Fairest award, Deakyn is set to captain Casey in 2025.
